Bible By The Beach: Local weekend worship conference based at Eastbourne on the May bank Holiday weekend
As a parish we support a number of local activities:-
Street Pastors: From 10pm - 3am on Friday and Saturday nights 48 Street Pastors drawn from 25 churches across East Sussex are on rota to patrol the Town Centre and Old Town hot spots to offer help and guidance. They are in teams of 4-6 and are always backed up by a prayer team at their resident base at the Bethel 24/7 prayer centre in the basement of Wellington Square Church.
Night Church: On the first Saturday each month Holy Trinity Church, Robertson Street is open from 10pm - 2am for anyone to call in. There are a number of local church members who are willing to listen, to pray and to offer a friendly ear. Refreshments are available at no charge.
24/7 Prayer Is an international interdenominational movement prayer in hundred plus nations.
Hope Kitchen Hope Kitchen is a soup kitchen in the centre of Hastings. They are open Thursday and Saturday evenings and welcome anyone over 18 to some soup and sandwiches, and a hot drink and a chat.
Snowflake Provides overnight accommodations to homeless people who would be otherwise sleeping rough in Hastings and St. Leonards during the winter months
Seaview Project The Seaview Project in the Southwater centre, Hatherley Road, St Leonards offers an open access day centre where people can find help, comfort, friendship and inspiration.
Shades Evangelistic Theatre Company This is a local theatre company which presents plays and musicals with a christian message.
Friends of TREAD: Supporting TREAD India, a charity giving children and young people opportunities, support and care that they otherwise would not receive through the provision of day care centres, tailoring training centre and an orphan assistance programme
The Leprosy Mission The Leprosy Mission is a leading international non-denominational Christian fellowship,with over 140 years of experience.
PRIME: Over a billion people worldwide lack access to the most basic healthcare, often because there are no health workers. PRIME is committed to improving the quality and depth of medical care worldwide but especially of patients in poorer situations. We do this in partnership with health care providers giving teaching that equips and empowers them to give excellent clinical care for the whole person. PRIME works in over 35 countries around the world.
Christian Schools Workers Hastings Works in the schools and academies of Hastings and St. Leonards to run clubs, assist with R.E curriculum and Collective Worship.
