What is Alpha?
The Alpha Course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith.  It is relaxed, low key, friendly and fun.  There will be refreshments at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other.  Listen, learn, discuss and discover.  And ask anything.  Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.  And it's supported by all the main Christian denominations.

Who is Alpha for?
Alpha is for everyone, especially:-
     Those wanting to investigate Christianity
      New Christians
      Newcomers to the Church
      Those of the Church who want to brush up on the basics

Where and When?    February 17th 2010 7pm - an Introduction to Alpha - venue details from Church Office.  Following a light meal the talks take place each Wednesday and cover the following subjects:

Week 1      24 Feb       Who is Jesus?
Week 2        3 Mar      Why did Jesus die?
Week 3      10 Mar      How can we have faith?
Week 4      17 Mar      Why and how do I pray? 
Week 5      24 Mar      Why and how should I read the Bible?
Easter week
Week 6      14 Apr       How does God guide us and How can I                               resist  evil?
